The Hays County sheriff’s office on Thursday arrested a sixth grade student for allegedly helping spread threats of a school shooting on social media.
According to the Llano Independent School District, one person was placed in custody after making threats on social media.
The district said there will be an increased law enforcement presence on campuses today due to the incident. The school district also had an increased police presence on Thursday, after it was made aware of school shooting threats made on Wednesday. (KXAN-TV)
