Austin homicide detectives responded to a scene early Saturday morning near the 1900 block of Rutland Drive in North Austin related to a deceased person.

Officers responded shortly after 4 a.m. to reports of gunshots heard at Espero Rutland Apartments, where they found a woman inside a unit suffering from a gunshot wound.
