After taking a self-imposed temporary semi-retirement of ten weeks, I am working full time again which is why I haven’t been writing much here lately.
I am working at the original Whole Foods Market on North Lamar in Austin which is the company’s global headquarters.

It’s great to be back to work with a new group of great people. The company has treated me well and they seem to value and appreciate my skills and experience.
Four months after moving from Baltimore, I am still amazed that I am living and working in Texas.
I am registered to vote in the Texas primary on Super Tuesday. That will really seal the deal for me, that I am truly a Texas resident….that and getting my driver’s license here. That’s been a struggle. So many people have moved here recently the Texas Department of Public Safety has a huge backlog of appointments. Mine isn’t until the first week of March! I’m not driving here (I walk to work) but need the license for identification.
Oh, and I turned 60 a couple of weeks ago…
