A trial date has been set for December 18 for the two individuals charged in the crash that killed six people on Interstate 695 in Woodlawn back in March. Lisa Lea, 54, and Melachi Brown, 20, both face manslaughter and other charges. Prosecutors said Lea was driving 121 mph and Brown was driving 122 mph at the time of the crash. (WBAL 1090)

A 45-year-old Accokeek man was convicted of being a felon in possession of a firearm while on probation for murder. Antjoun Riddick was being served an outstanding warrant at his home in Prince George’s County last December when he was found to be hiding a loaded 9mm pistol in his waistband.
