A SWAT standoff has ended following a heavy police presence in East Austin.
According to police, the SWAT call was prompted by a barricaded subject in the 5800 block of Wellington Drive. around 5:45 p.m. Wednesday.
Austin police stated Wednesday that a motive remains undetermined in the Capital Mortuary Services case involving the abuse of a human corpse. An arrest affidavit revealed that severed arms at the mortuary were injected with formaldehyde and used in an experiment.
