Flights at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport have resumed normal operations following an early Friday morning ground stop for arrivals from Dallas and Houston. The FAA attributed the delay to air traffic controller staffing issues.
Friday’s delays were the third time in the past few months that a ground stop had to be issued at ABIA due to air traffic controller shortages.

On March 21st, Texas Rangers apprehended 32-year-old Sadaqat “Mike” Abbasi of Comal County, charging him with sexual assault following a lengthy investigation.
