A fire on Tuesday afternoon damaged ten units at an apartment complex in Southeast Austin and led to the displacement of 17 people. No injuries were reported.

Murder charges have been filed against an 18-year-old for his role in a deadly shooting in southeast Austin last month.

Stephon Morson is charged with murder and remains in Travis County Jail on an $800,000 bond. (KVUE-TV)
The family of Rajan Moonesinghe has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the city of Austin and the three Austin police officers who responded to Moonesinghe’s home in November of 2022.
Austin police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in a deadly shooting last week.

The Austin Police Department have yet to provide more details about last week’s deadly officer-involved shooting after saying an update would come within 24 hours.
