The only weekend of early voting in Texas concluded yesterday.
According to the Texas Secretary of State, roughly 26% of the 926,313 people registered in Travis County have voted early. In Williamson County, a little more than 30% of the 445,326 people that are registered have voted early. (KVUE-TV)

Four Hays County homeowners have filed a lawsuit against the Hays County Commissioner Court over its August decision to call a transportation bond election, which Hays County residents are already voting on as Proposition A. (KXAN-TV)
Six people were injured, with three of them taken to hospitals, in an auto-pedestrian crash Sunday near Austin-Bergstrom International Airport on State Highway 71.


Five people are dead after a fiery wrong-way crash on Loop 820 in Fort Worth early Sunday morning.
A second-alarm fire was reported at 8800 N I35 SVRD Southbound around 6 a.m. Sunday. Several apartments were said to be involved on the second and third floors.

Later in the day Sunday, fire crews responded to another apartment complex.
