Over the past decade, the number of students enrolled areawide in traditional school districts increased by 34,482 between the 2013-14 and 2023-24 school years. Charter school enrollment increased by 24,436 during the same timeframe. As of 2023-24, more than 375,000 students are enrolled in districts, while about 37,000 are enrolled in charter schools.”
