I am moving to Austin, Texas, the week of September 18.
The look, feel and focus of my blog will change. It will no longer be Maryland-centric, obviously, but anything related to the Old Line State that is important to me will still be featured.
I am moving for the purpose of experiencing something new, in a new city with all new people. To be close to turning 60 and to have this kind of opportunity and to be this excited about life and my future is a gift.
I earned it, though. I worked hard my whole life to get to this moment.
What I didn’t intend to do, however, was make this move right after launching a blog that became a morning news aggregator for Maryland readers. But life’s got a way of taking a hard left turn when you aren’t expecting it and this opportunity to move came about literally weeks after Jouster’s launch in May.
So, for that, I apologize to readers who have grown accustomed to my consistent morning news posts. They will end next week.
The blog’s design and name will change. The address, for now, will not.
I humbly ask that you continue to follow along and see what it’s like for a native Marylander to up and move to Texas. I will share my experiences and show you a city as I get to know it as a resident rather than a visitor.
I cannot wait to hit the ground running.
