For the second night in a row, Austin police responded to an apparent homicide.
A 911 call from an apartment complex in the 2300 block of Douglas Street near E. Oltorf Street in South Austin was made just before midnight where a male victim was found in the parking lot with a gunshot wound.


This is Austin’s eighth homicide of the year.
